Day 248 - Vegetarian Kerala Dinner

Kerala’s biggest festival Onam is around the corner. While thinking about Onam I got the craving for Sadya today, I wanted to make all the sadya dishes and ended up making only a few. I made Rosematta rice or red rice, Sambar(Lentil and Mixed Veggie curry) just like restaurant style, Cucumber pulissery(cucumber in yogurt sauce) and for dessert I made my favorite Tender Coconut Pudding. Sadya is served on plantain leaf, I had plantain leaf and so served the dishes on it. You should try serving your food on plantain leaf and eating on it, the dishes would taste unbelievably yummy. Wish I could eat everyday on plantain leaves.
