Day 174 – Chicken Satay

Day 174 - Chicken Satay

More gardening and enjoyed the rain. For dinner, I made our favorite chicken satay. Usually it is served with peanut sauce, didn’t have peanut butter so I served it with sauteed veggies.

Recipe:

  • Chicken breasts, cut half and long- 2
  • Ginger-garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
  • soy sauce- 2 tbsp
  • Fish sauce- 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar- 2 tsp
  • Honey- 2 tsp
  • Ground pepper- 1/4 tsp
Preparation:
  • Marinate  the chicken for 30 minutes.
  • Cook on a skillet or grill it till chicken has cooked well and turns golden brown.

Ketchup Veggie:

  • Red pepper, cut long- 1
  • Carrot, cut long-1
  • Celery, cut long- 2 stalks
  • Soy sauce- 2 tbsp
  • tomato ketchup- 2 tbsp
  • ground pepper- 1/4 tsp
Preparation:

  1. Cook veggies till tender.
  2. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup and ground pepper.
  3. Combine well and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve along with Chicken Satay.
